Overview:

Moorlands College Learning Assistance Tutors provide one to one study skills support in person and remotely to students in receipt of Disability Students Allowance (DSA). We support students with dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactive disorder as well as other disabilities. Learning Assistance tutors are also required to provide general study skills support which is paid at a different rate. More information will be available at interview.

Successful candidates will have the mandatory qualifications and professional memberships as stipulated by the Department for Education for the positions of either Specialist one-to-one Study Skills and Strategy Support -Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) or Specialist one-to-one Study Skills and Strategy upport -Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)

Rate of pay: £27.82 per hour.
