We have several exciting opportunities to manage our social media channels, with an aim to maximise engagement, and raise awareness of our work.
As a social Media Volunteer you will be involved in:
- Establishing and / or maintaining active social media account/s
- Monitoring and responding to engagements on the channel/s
- Researching and creating creative content
- Promoting the stories and opportunities of the College Community
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships with graduates and partners.

What skills and experience are we looking for?
First and foremost, we are seeking Christ-centred, servant-hearted and passionate Christians, unequivocally committed to evangelical Christianity as expressed in our Statement of Faith. Volunteers should have a desire to use their skills and expertise for the good of the college, it’s students, and the advancement of God’s kingdom.
Ideally you will have some of the skills outlined below, however, training will be provided to help you grow in any areas that are new to you.
- Social media user: Experience of using one or more social media channels e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok
- Attention to detail: Good written communication skills with a bias for accuracy and attention to detail in presentation
- Creative: Ability to think creatively when designing content
- Team Player and self-motivated: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team when required, and comfortable motivating yourself to work independently.
- Positive outlook on life: ability to deal in a professional and positive manner when communicating online
- Photography: Basic digital photography experience would be useful but not essential.
Young People and this Role
This is a great opportunity for someone of any age, and any stage of life. The minimum age for this role is 16 years old. A risk assessment, parental consent and safeguarding considerations will be required for those aged 16-17years old.
