About The Course
This short course equips participants to develop a deeper understanding of apologetics and Christian engagement with contemporary culture. Topics explored include a history of Christian apologetics, Christian engagement with Islam, and Christian apologetics within contemporary secularism.

Training Team
The first part of the course will be delivered by Andy Everhart, a lecturer in Theology at London School of Theology. The second part will be led by Andy du Feu and Ian Kirby. In addition, Richard Stamp, a recent graduate of Moorlands MA Applied Theology programme, will be drawing on his dissertation research to help participants explore what space travel reveals about the contemporary secular worldview and how Christians can best convey the Christian message within this context.
Course Content
Learn how to:
- Demonstrate familiarity with historical traditions of Christian enquiry
- Apply a particular apologetic method to an appropriate issue of contemporary concern in Christian ministry
- Articulate a case for faith in terms appropriate to a particular discipline such as historical studies or cosmology.

- Having an honours undergraduate degree
- Being able to demonstrate postgraduate level ability through providing evidence of work based learning and professional experience.
